Concrete Staining Office Floor - Plano, Texas

Problem: My customer had carpet in his office and over the years it had gotten quite worn out.

Solution: The carpet was removed as well as the base board which was reinstalled after application of the stain.

Preparation: The concrete was ground to remove all of the glue, paint overspray and drywall mud which gave me a nice clean and ready to stain surface.

Application: A 6" boarder was added to the floor to give it a little more wow factor in a dark cocoa bean color with the interior stain being a 50/50 mix of cocoa bean and autumn breeze and than a satin finish polyurethane was applied.

Summary: My customer was looking for a floor finish that would be a better solution for his office which would be easier to clean and tie in with his wood flooring out in the hallway.
